The route into Wood Buffalo National Park is the first part of the Waterfalls Route. Today, we visited Alexandra Falls, Louise Falls and Escarpment Creek on the Hay River.
Alexandra Falls is 109 feet tall and Louise Falls has a 50 feet drop. There is an interpretive walk between the two explaining the seasonal migration of the Dene nation.

Our visit to Escarpment Creek was cut short by a thunderstorm so there are no pictures.
